Algonquin Bound

Today I will be leaving for my first Algonquin trip of 2009.  Relaxation that comes in the form of fresh dirt smell, fresh pine needles and camp fires.  Add to that living basic, roasting veggie dogs over the fire, walking through the woods, photographing wildlife.  I am so glad I found my zen early in life, now I just need to figure out how to live that zen all the time. 

Algonquin or Bust.

I love when I see a bird or animal I've never seen, I can then go look it up, add it to the memory bank.  I saw a flicker of white fly from the ground to a tree, this beauty stayed still long enough for me to take it's picture.  

The Northern Mockingbird, I shall call it Atticus.
