If you take a closer look, slowly emerging from that brown wasteland is GREEN. The grass is starting to work its way up from the earth to surprise us all one day when you look out and see fresh green lushness.
Yet another sure sign that spring is on the way, the birds are doing the flirtation dance. Every where you look you see the male birds showing off for the chickies, strutting, puffing themselves out, flapping their wings, bobbing their heads and pushing the other lads out of the way. I like to see the girls making them work, if it comes too easy they'll think the ladies are pushovers.
Keep the sunshine, fresh air, buds on the trees coming, I love this time of year!
